actually the very first senshi to appear, sailorvenus represents love and beauty. before joining the sailor team, she was known as "sailor v" in england, where she fought crime. she is a very optimistic senshi, and doesn't give up, even when things look really bad. when she isn't transformed, she is the ditzy, bubbly teenage girl, minako. she goes to school at shibakouen junior high, then attends high school with the rest of the girls (except rei). there is virtually nothing known about mina's parents. she is an only child.

minako is one of my favourite sailor senshi, because she is always willing to help, although the results of her help may be quite disastrous. she also freely gives advice to anyone who needs it, but be aware...she misquotes proverbs very often. she is rather boy-crazy, and goes after any cute guy she sees. in fact, she is so very much like usagi, you would think they were twins. they look VERY cute when together. dispite her happy exterior, minako has a sad past that she keeps hidden deep within her. she rarely talks about it, because it opens old wounds..

sailorvenus's attacks and transformations

*venus power, make-up!*-- sailorvenus' first transformation. used during all the first season, and most of the second.
*venus star power, make-up!*-- sailorvenus' second transformation. used in late sailormoon R, all the way to sailormoon SS.
*venus crystal power, make-up!*-- sailorvenus says this to transform into supersailorvenus, beginning in early sailormoon SS. this is her last transformation.
*crescent beam!*-- venus shoots two gold-coloured beams of light an at enemy.
*crescent beam shower!*-- basically the same as crescent beam, except the beams split into hundreds of tiny beams, then hit the enemy.
*venus love me chain!*-- venus creates a chain of tiny orange hearts that she can direct at an enemy, OR use as sort of a whip.
*venus love and beauty shock!*-- this is my favourite attack! venus winks and blows a kiss, creating a band of orange hearts that can be shot at any enemy in her way.
